One Amazon book link for readers in different countries
A universal Amazon book link is one URL that directs readers to a regional Amazon store. KDPBook Link chooses the store using the country reported for the request and keeps the ASIN you supplied.

Create a universal book link
You need the ASIN for the edition you want to share. An ASIN is Amazon’s 10-character product identifier. You can find it in the Product details section or after /dp/ in an Amazon product URL.
- Paste the Amazon product URL or ASIN into the generator.
- Sign in using the one-time link sent to your email. Your ASIN is carried through sign-in.
- Choose Create free short links. Copy the product link and review link, or download their QR codes.
- Open the product link and check the edition and destination before sharing it publicly.
What happens when someone opens your link?
A reader in Canada is directed to amazon.ca, while a reader in the United Kingdom is directed to amazon.co.uk. The destination keeps your ASIN. The redirect happens directly, without a KDPBook Link landing page or reader sign-in.
The app supports 18 Amazon marketplaces. Requests from countries outside that list fall back to amazon.com. Country detection can be affected by VPNs or network routing; it is not a reader-selected shopping preference.
One ASIN does not mean every edition
Different editions and formats can have different identifiers. KDPBook Link does not search Amazon’s catalog or replace your ASIN with a local edition. Check that the supplied ASIN resolves in the markets important to you.
Amazon determines whether formats share a detail page, whether a title is available in a particular country, and the price shown to the reader. A universal link does not change publishing territories, stock or distribution rights.
Where to use the link
Use the product link in your author bio, newsletter, website or a campaign. Use its QR code on print material. Short product links have the format kdpbook.link/abc123; the six-character code is case-sensitive.
Every signed-in account can generate unlimited free links. They are saved to your dashboard, ready to copy or download again. Pro unlocks analytics for all your links, including those created before subscribing.
Already using a /for/ link?
Your existing /for/ASIN and /for/ASIN/review links continue to work. You do not have to replace them on published websites or printed material. New links use short codes, with a separate /review version for the review form.
