What is a universal Amazon book link?
It is one shareable link that sends readers to an Amazon store based on their country. KDPBook Link uses the same ASIN in 18 supported marketplaces, with amazon.com as the fallback. Book availability and prices still depend on Amazon.
Is link creation really free and unlimited?
Yes. Sign in to create as many short product links, review links and QR codes as you need. There is no free-account creation quota. Readers do not need a KDPBook Link account.
Where are my free links saved?
Every link you create while signed in is saved to your dashboard, for free. Revisit your library to copy links or download QR codes. Pro unlocks analytics for the entire library, including links created before subscribing.
What does Pro include and how much does it cost?
Pro includes book organization by title, pen name and series, campaign and placement comparisons, an overview with equal-period comparisons, campaign notes on your timeline, 7, 14 and 30-day launch tracking, optional weekly email reports, and analytics for all your saved links, including those created on Free. Your dashboard and unlimited link generation stay free. When Pro ends, every link stays visible and keeps working, while Pro tools and reports pause. Pro costs US$9/month or US$90/year, billed automatically until canceled.
Can I link directly to the review form?
Yes. Every generated link has a /review version that redirects to the regional Amazon review form. Amazon controls reader sign-in and review eligibility. KDPBook Link does not submit or guarantee reviews.
Will my older links keep working?
Yes. Existing /for/ASIN and /for/ASIN/review links continue to work. New links use a shorter six-character code. You do not need to replace links you have already published.
Can I organize editions together or track sales?
Pro lets you group links for different editions under one book. Each link still uses its own ASIN and does not substitute regional ASINs. Click analytics measure recorded redirects, including repeat visits and bots, not Amazon purchases or unique readers.
