  • Your choice of HTTPS retailer or shop links
  • Owned Amazon short links keep their regional routing

Your author-page questions,
answered.

What is a public author page?

A public author page is a website for your books, biography and links at an address such as yourname.kdpbook.link. KDPBook Link includes one author site per active Pro account. Readers can visit without signing in.

How much does an author page cost?

Public author pages are included in Pro at US$9/month or US$90/year, alongside named links, book organization and detailed analytics. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. New accounts receive one complimentary month of Pro with no card required and no automatic charge.

Can I add books that are not published on Amazon KDP?

Yes. Add books from any publishing platform and use HTTPS links to retailers, a publisher, an audiobook platform, a library or your own shop. You can add several destinations for each book and choose a primary one. An Amazon listing or ASIN is not required. Owned Amazon short links retain their regional routing; other destinations use the URL you provide.

How are the six themes different?

Editorial uses an asymmetric literary layout. Bookshelf centers your identity above a cover-led collection. Nocturne gives a featured release a dark cinematic stage. Botanical uses organic shapes and a warm introduction. Chromatic pairs large sans-serif type with bold color blocks. Folio uses a quiet identity column and book-list rows. Each includes three curated palettes, for eighteen in total.

Can I configure my author page on a phone?

Yes. The studio works on desktop and mobile, with a live preview and simple appearance controls. Change fonts, palettes, images, book covers, sections and links without writing code. Changing themes keeps your books and text, and each theme remembers its appearance settings.

Can I write a blog on my author website?

Yes. Pro includes a simple blog that follows your chosen theme. Add up to 30 posts with a title, date, introduction, optional cover image and formatted text. Preview on desktop or mobile, keep unfinished posts private, and choose which posts to include when you publish your site. Your blog has its own /blog page, individual post addresses and an RSS feed. You can also show your latest three posts on the home page.

Are changes visible before I publish them?

No. Your edits autosave to a private draft. Readers keep seeing the last published version until you publish again. You can unpublish your page or restore the previous publication. Restoring also replaces the current draft.

What happens to my author page when Pro expires?

Public serving pauses when Pro expires, including when a complimentary period ends. Your content and handle stay saved. Renewal restores your published page unless you explicitly unpublished it. Free short links and their QR codes continue working independently of Pro.

Make room for your next chapter.

Choose your design, add your books and give readers one author address to remember.
